Bleeding Study

Researchers at Prince Henry's Institute are recruiting women for a study to better understand excessive menstrual bleeding (menorrhagia), a condition which affects up to 1 in 4 women.

The study aims to discover more about the causes of excessive menstrual bleeding and the findings may help in the development of future treatments. We are seeking help from women between 18 and 40 yrs who experience regular monthly cycles. Participation will involve collection of a single sample of menstrual blood.

We would like to hear from you if you experience excessive menstrual bleeding.
Study participants are also sought who experience normal menstrual bleeding.
